Middle Class Hustlers: Real Talk, Real Hustle.

Dear Middle Class Hustlers community,

For those who have been with us from Day 1, you would have noticed our ever-changing page both here and on our Instagram (@middle_class_hustlers). We started with a focus on "unlocking the keys to financial freedom!" and how to change your mindset to achieve success. Then we thought, financial freedom is a part of a much bigger conversation that involves planning and strategising. Books can show you how to do that. Go read them. So then we thought, let's show other parents how to focus on getting their mornings sorted, and we shifted focus to "Empowering parents through morning triumphs!"

Makes sense right? Conquer the morning, you conquer the day? Sounds fab! But what if your morning has been horrible? What if you're depressed from financial stress and simply getting up and showering is enough of a win? What if your kid has kept you up all night or they refuse to stick to the morning schedule before school and you end up carrying one kid in a football hold and the other kid by their bag as they kick and scream to not go to class. Or you are just so exhausted from work that you could do with an extra 5 minutes in bed before chaos ensues.

All this to say...

We get it. We've been there, and will probably be there again twice this week, whenever you read this. So screw it. Instead of trying to present to you a prim and proper "key to success", we just want to share our story — one that's deeply rooted in serving our community and empowering other couples to be their best selves.

Between Eric's rollercoaster journey through the Aussie Defence Force and the underworld, and Jem's athletic triumphs, then TV Series stint that almost cost our marriage, we've discovered a simple truth. We're just a married couple who know the struggle of building a balanced life from the ground up. From different backgrounds and career and lifestyle shifts, to parenting with trauma, we've learned the power of honesty, teamwork, and staying true to our dreams.

So join us as we share our journey to fulfilment, sharing the highs, lows, and the sacrifices it takes to hustle for the life you truly want.

Meet Jem, whose journey as an Elite Athlete to landing a role in a hit TV series has been nothing short of extraordinary. She's experienced success in diverse arenas, but building a strong home and being a mum made Jem realise her true dreams.

Jem understands the importance of navigating the journey of success can be a hard one especially when life shifts and changes at the drop of a hat. Now, Jem is committed to sharing her insights and empowering others to embrace the hustle for the life they truly want.
